"Motobécane" is a compound of "moto", short for motorcycle; "bécane" is slang for "bike." It just seems really odd for them to sell 2 single-pivot design full-suspension bikes (Gravity FSX and Motobecane DS) that are so similar. It seems fairly redundant. It would almost make more sense for them to allow the Gravity FSX to replace the Moto DS, phase out the entry-level (e.g. 529) Motobecane mtbs, and establish the Motobecane brand.
